Itching to ride

I am really having the itch to ride. I have only been thinking about fresh powder and the feeling you get when you are riding freshies. Ahhh dont I wish it were winter here now. I am envious of all of you who are riding now. I will be heading down to Bariloche this year. As we would say.....No resting only RIDING.

Afro Samurai

Here is the trailer for the new Afro Samurai: The Resurrection which is set for release sometime in February. The soundtrack is done by The Rza so you know its going to be on point. The voices of the characters are done by Samuel L Jackson and Lucy Lui to name a few. Looks like it is going to be something really cool to look at.

This is a nice little house joint called Music is the New Religion. Its by a group called the Subs....and that is all that I can tell you at this moment. I can tell you that the video to this is off the hook, and the song is ridiculous. I am looking to play this on the show next week. enjoy.

I thought that this would be appropriate for the upcoming inaugeration of President Obama. To show where we have come, and how much more further we need to go. Dr Martin Luther King really made it plain in this speach. He really brought to our attention the things that we need to do to get right, and these valuable lessons still ring true today. MLK had a dream........and that dream is coming to frutation. USA stand up!! Today is your day. WE ARE CHANGE! Congratulations President Obama.

Tribute to the Classics

Here is a the trailer to the Tribute to the Classics movie they made at the Knitting Factory (which is no longer open). Its Smif n Wessun and Black Moon. The whole Duck Down Records crew. This really does seem live as hell. I wish I could have been there to have checked that out. That is one of the things I really miss about being in the States....REAL HIP HOP! Big up to Duck Down and those that made this event possible. Wow I cant wait to see the whole thing finished. Disfrutala.

This right here is ridiculous. If you know the original, which is Lets ride off the Amplified album. You know that Exile really flips this one, and turns it into a banger.....not saying that it wasnt already one, but he really puts his own touch on a classic, and made me go back to listen to the original again.

Ninja Assassin Training and Choreography with Rain Bi

Here is some backstage footage of Rain Bi training for a movie. I am not sure what movie this is for, but the practise footage is SICK. They are really doing ninjitsu but more for the movies, practising timing and stunts. This one is some nice training to watch. Disfrutala.

eMC (feat. Lady Bug) --- The Show

Here is a new joint for the group eMC that has an album coming out this upcoming year. They also got Lady Bug Mecca from Digable Planets......(sidenote...Blowout Comb is one of the best hip hop albums of all time) who has been away from the spotlight for awhile, so this one really suprised me when they have her as a guest appearance. They got a nice hard vibe to it, I love the storytelling effect of this song. Something that is really missing right now in hip hop.
